Autotecnic, based in Barcelona and founded in 1991, provides high-tech diagnostic and repair solutions. These tools support the repair and maintenance segment of the automotive aftermarket. The acquisition aligns with TecAlliance’s strategy to expand and strengthen its TecRMI solution, according to the company. TecRMI delivers standardized, OE-compliant repair and maintenance information to global customers.
TecAlliance Acquires More Global TecRMI Reach with Autotecnic
TecAlliance plans to integrate Autotecnic’s advanced tools and databases into its TecRMI platform. This move will expand the TecRMI solution globally and improve support for garages, suppliers and parts traders.
Peter van der Galiën, CEO of TecAlliance, said Autotecnic’s expertise and solutions complement the TecRMI portfolio. He explained that their AI-driven SARA analytics and repair case database help garages work more efficiently and profitably.
Autotecnic’s products reduce non-billable hours, improve parts ordering accuracy, and guide mechanics with clear instructions. Their tools also support suppliers and parts traders by increasing repair efficiency and driving sales.

Francisco Creus and César González, founders of Autotecnic, shared their support for the acquisition. They said they looked for a partner with deep industry knowledge to globalize their solutions.
