Bosch and Horizon Robotics signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to deepen their collaboration. Bosch will build its new multi-purpose camera using Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6B platform. It also will develop its Bosch ADAS product family for the mid segment using Journey 6E/M. These assisted driving solutions aim to increase safety, convenience and comfort for both drivers and passengers. Bosch’s new camera and ADAS family already earned design wins from multiple OEMs, the company said.

Journey 6B Powers Next-Gen Assisted Driving Solutions
Bosch developed its new multi-purpose camera using Horizon’s Journey 6B processing hardware. The camera supports advanced safety functions for SAE Level 2 assisted driving. Bosch plans to start mass production by mid-2026. Horizon designed Journey 6B for next-generation ADAS systems. The platform focuses on active safety and serves as a standard configuration for the industry. Horizon stated that Journey 6B lets partners build integrated systems that improve performance and safety while reducing costs.
Bosch Expands ADAS Features and Global Reach
Bosch’s ADAS product family for the mid segment uses Horizon’s Journey 6E/M hardware. It supports urban navigation-based assisted driving. Features include memory driving across up to 10 routes and smooth one-move parking. Bosch secured contracts with five OEMs, including JeTour, Dongfeng and BAIC. The first model will launch in June 2025. Bosch will also start its first overseas project with this platform in Q1 2026. This move marks the start of global expansion for its mid-segment ADAS offerings.
